THE HATCHES ARE HAPPENING

The last week or so have been terrific, so get your rod, boat and cooler ready for the hot summer action!!! Fisherman- The hatches have been great mid day from Carbondale up Valley and unbelievable in the evening below Carbondale. Recent guests at The Lodge on the Roaring Fork were blessed with back to back evening hatches of Drakes, PMD's and especially stones. The trout were chasing even the worst drifts thown near dark and taking them without regard. 18" rainbows were everywhere. A five minute walk back to the Lodge, cold beers awaiting and a story about a notch mouth sucker ( 20+ inches) taking a caddis dry fly hightlighted a great evening. The Lodge has openings on both weekdays and weekends through the summer. Visit us for a fishing vacation you won't forget. Carbondale Boat Ramp update: Any Day....?...?...?
